HE Graduation 2016

2016 Higher Education Graduation Ceremony

Friday 18 November at the Albert Hall

New College Nottingham is delighted to invite all 2016 graduates to the Higher Education Graduation Ceremony; this will be held on Friday 18 November at the Albert Hall Conference Centre, North Church Street (off Derby Road), Nottingham NG1 5AA.

The graduation ceremony will begin at 2pm and is expected to end at around 3.30pm.
Doors will open at 10.30am for graduate registration, gowning and official photography.
All graduates must arrive and register no later than 1pm to take part in the ceremony.

Graduate tickets are free of charge. Register online before the deadline of 5pm on Friday 28 October. Guest tickets are priced at just £10 each (plus booking fee). We expect a high demand for guest tickets, with the potential for the tickets to sell out.

In fairness to all, guest ticket sales will be split into 2 booking periods:

Booking period 1

Monday 26 September at 9am to Friday 28 October at 5pm (or until all tickets have been sold).

Bookings for guest tickets will be initially restricted to a maximum of two per graduate. Tickets will be sold (via Eventbrite only) for a first-come, first-served basis (subject to availability).

Booking period 2

Tuesday 1 November at 9am to Wednesday 16 November at 5pm (or until all tickets have been sold).

Following booking period 1, and remaining tickets will then go on unrestricted sale to registered graduates (via Eventbrite only) on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guest tickets can be purchased here.

A personal copy of the graduation invitation pack will be posted to all successful candidates by the end of September.

Help us to keep in touch with you by making sure that your home address details are up to date.
We look forward very much to seeing you once again and helping to celebrate your Higher Education success on Graduation Day.

Bookings for academic gowning and photography

Our official supplier is SUCCESS Photography, who look after many universities and colleges.

They are offering a deal for NCN graduates of a full outfit (hat, gown and hood) together with a 10 x 8” studio photo – all for £35.00.  This represents great value for money and is the same price as last year.  You can of course add to this with tailored-made photography packages if you wish.

You can find out more about the services available at Success Photography and orders will be taken from early September onwards.  Again, there will be information on this in your invitation pack.
