On 8 June 2017 New College Nottingham and Central College Nottingham joined forces to become Nottingham College.

The College will take the very best bits of ncn and Central and put them together to create a brand new college for the city.

Nottingham College will not simply be a place where you come to study, gain a qualification and then leave. It will be a centre of excellence for teaching and learning but more than that, it will be a place where careers are made, a place where you will be given every opportunity to learn and develop a full range of skills for the workplace, and a place where you will be introduced to your future employers.

About Nottingham College

  • Nottingham College will be one of the largest colleges in the UK - that’s great news for you and great to put on your CV
  • There will be nine campuses across Nottingham, all centres of excellence, specialising in particular curriculum areas
  • Nottingham College will cater for around 40,000 students in total
  • Nottingham College will employ around 1,500 staff
  • The College will work with around 6,000 local, regional and national employers
  • The College will include a brand new state-of-the-art city centre campus which will be built for 2020
  • Nottingham College will directly support the creation of 55,000 new jobs across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire by 2023
