Please note: This news story may contain information that is no longer current or up to date.

With support from Grant Thornton and Freeths, we provided advice and expertise to more than 70 businesses last week at an event about the Apprenticeship Levy which came into effect in April this year.

The business breakfast, which was held at Sandicliffe Nissan Nottingham on 26th July included representatives from Nottingham Trent University, Source Bioscience, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue and VF Corporation.

Guest speakers Mark Morton (Grant Thornton) and Matt McBride (Freeths) discussed ways to equip businesses and senior leaders with new knowledge about issues such as employment law, finance and organisational development, whilst James Whybrow, the College’s Vice Principal Partnerships, Apprenticeships and Enterprise (pictured) discussed how businesses can make the most of the changes to how Apprenticeships and training are financed and delivered.
