How does it work?

  • 12 weeks of theory study online
  • 2 weeks of on-campus teaching practice 
  • 1 week online 'wrap up' reflecting on everything you've learned

This approach is ideal for those already in employment, as the usual four week teaching element can be accomplished within two weeks thanks to our intensive approach, making it much easier to fit into your annual leave entitlement. 


CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) gives people with little or no teaching experience the training they need to be successful language teachers, opening up a world of opportunities. 

The course places equal emphasis on the principles of teaching and practical teaching, showing employers that you've successfully completed a challenging programme of training, exploring theory as well as gaining valuable experience of teaching real classes.
