Course outline

This course is perfect for those wanting to work on a construction site.

The qualification is a mandatory requirement for all new labourers who want to hold a CSCS green card.

You will learn:

  • Introductory knowledge related to health and safety in the construction industry
  • Develop introductory skills in health and safety in the construction industry
  • Learn about health and safety issues related to different occupations in the construction industry
  • Achieve a nationally recognised Level 1 qualification
  • Develop you own personal growth and engagement in learning and employability skills

This is a classroom-based course where you will take part in group discussions and activities.

Upon completion of the course a voucher is issued to allow the candidate to book a CSCS green card test at an alternative venue.

Nottingham College do not buy candidates green cards. It is for the individual to buy their own card upon successful completion of their CITB Health Safety & Environment Test (Green Card Test).
