Matt Roe and Nick Gillespie
Matt Roe is employed by G4 Inns at Erewash Golf Club. He has completed both Level 2 and 3 for his Apprenticeship in Professional Cookery.
Nick Gillespie, Managing Director of G4 Inns, commented: “Before taking Matt on, I knew little about Apprenticeships but it has worked out really well for us; so well in fact, we now employ six apprentices.
I believe this type of training is an excellent route for young people. It ensures they are equipped with the skills they need and are ready for work when they come into the industry.”
Matt said: “I can't imagine doing anything other than an Apprenticeship; you get so much practical experience and really get to learn how a commercial kitchen works."
