New College Nottingham is pleased to announce a new English (EFL) course for complete Beginners.
There are 4 start dates during the year, students are able to study a minimum of 4 weeks up to a *full year, enabling them to tailor the length of course to suit their needs.
Students are able to learn at their own pace. Progress is regularly monitored, allowing students to move into our higher level classes as soon as they are ready.
*Students who require visas to study, will not be able to access a Tier 4 Student visa, or a Tourist/Visit visa for this course.
Beginner level students should investigate the alternatives such as the Student Visitor visa.
Special English Courses
Short courses – These are very popular with International students. They are carefully designed to suit the needs of the individual to prepare them for English Language examinations relevant to the particular course. One-to-one short courses can also be arranged.
You can study towards FCE (First Certificate in English), CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) and Preparation for IELTS.
These courses are ideal for students studying at ncn for a whole term.
Social Activities
The social programme enables students to visit new places and to help them make new friends. Each term the programme includes organised excursions to places of interest such as Stratford, York and Cambridge. We also organise sporting activities, party nights and discos.
Enrichment
All full-time students in the college can take part in the Enrichment programme, which offers free activities and courses on a Wednesday afternoon. The activities range from sports, to arts and crafts, and even first aid.
