The Faculty of Functional Skills focuses on:

  • Basic Skills

    Basic Skills courses can help adult learners improve their reading, writing, and maths skills. You can gain new or update old qualifications for further training or employment.

  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

    Build up your confidence with English and gain the national qualification needed to support your Indefinite Leave to Remain / Citizenship application.

  • Functional Skills

    Functional Skills are part of full-time College courses, and develop your essential skills at Level 1 or Level 2. They are qualifications in English, Maths and ICT.
