Students on our Childcare, Health and Social Care
courses benefit from a range of resources including their
own kitchen to learn about preparing healthy meals for
children, interactive dolls, creative toys, games and their
own IT and interactive area with access to online
resources.
Childcare students also attend vocational
training placements in our four on-campus nurseries, as
well as schools and nurseries across the city.
Students on our Public Services courses have a fantastic new gym at ncn Basford Hall, and can take advantage of our close links with leisure facilities and key local employers in Nottingham. ncn also has links with all emergency services in Nottingham, with plenty of opportunities for work placements and interviews at the end of your studies.
Designed specifically for Public Services courses, the gymnasium at Basford Hall has a range of cardiovascular equipment, including treadmills, step machines and rowing machines, free weights and resistance machines focusing on the lower body. The gym is fully air conditioned and has a reception area in preparation for opening to the general public.
