What is an Apprenticeship?

An Apprenticeship is a nationally recognised Training Scheme for employed people aged 16 - 24 who would like to gain work-based qualifications. You can earn while you learn, with employers paying you a minimum wage.

You can achieve National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) Level 2 and 3 in your Apprenticeship, and the School of Business, Computing and Professional Studies offers apprenticeships in Business and Administration.

To find out more about Apprenticeships, call the ncn Call Centre on 0115 9 100 100 or email enquiries@ncn.ac.uk or visit ncn at work's Apprenticeships page.
