CELTA

Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) is a qualification that gives teachers the training they need to be successful language teachers and opens the door to exciting teaching opportunities in the UK and all over the world.

Because CELTA places equal emphasis on both principles of language teaching and practical teaching, it shows employers that a teacher has successfully completed a challenging programme of training, exploring not only the theory of teaching but also gaining valuable experience of teaching real classes.

CELTA is accredited by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) at Level 5 on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

PTLLS

At present, we also offer PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) combined with CELTA at no extra charge. PTLLS is a UK-only, Level 4 qualification for new or unqualified teachers preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector in England.
