Additional support for students, which can be delivered in class or on an individual basis, is available to students. At times students will be referred to these sessions, if it is felt that it will help your daughter/son to maximise their achievement. Careers and Higher Education
Regular careers information is given in Tutor Periods. It also forms an integral part of many courses. We have a dedicated Higher Education Advisor, Dave Tolan, who can be contacted on 0115 912 5532.
Information on Higher Education will be given from January onwards. There is also a Higher Education Information Evening for Parents in April.
College Counsellor
A qualified Counsellor is available in college. If there is a problem where confidential outside help may be beneficial an appointment can be made via Reception.
