College Charter
A copy of our Charter and Code of Conduct is issued to all students on arrival. This outlines the colleges’ commitment to the student and the students’ responsibility to the college. You will be informed of any breaches of the code. Fortunately serious breaches of the code are rare, but it is worth stating here that offences such as violence, consuming alcohol, possessing or taking illegal drugs or smoking will lead to immediate suspension and may lead to permanent exclusion.
Smoking
The College is a non-smoking college and smoking is only allowed in the shelter provided at the rear of the building. The front of the building will be regarded as a no-smoking area.
College Liability
The College accepts no liability for student possessions whilst on the College premises or whilst on College transport. Students are therefore advised to arrange their own cover for such items as bicycles and portable equipment.
Students are advised not to leave personal belongings unattended at any time.
Recreation
College has cover for legal liability for injuries to students engaged in College activities. Students are, however, recommended to arrange their own insurance for such occurrences as they deem appropriate.
