Entry Requirements
Your tutor will discuss the entry requirements during the first year of your 'A' Level programme.
An early start in the first year of an 'A' Level programme is possible for some students.
Course Content
From 'A' Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics will extend your work in Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Mechanics and may include a Numerical Methods unit or a Decision Mathematics unit.
It is assumed that you will have your own scientific calculator. A graphical calculator is also strongly recommended - ask your tutor for advice before buying one.
Assessment
A combination of examinations and one piece of coursework.

A Higher Education course in mathematics, business, accountancy, science, computing, engineering, economics or a career in one of these areas.
