Art: Graphics/3D Design

Art: Graphics/3D Design is studied at ncn Lace Market School of Art and Design.

What kind of student is this course suitable for?

Our Art: Graphics/3D Design course is creative in approach and will allow you to experiment with ways of exploring the relationship between image and text. It is suitable for students who have an interest, but not necessarily experience in graphics and/or 3D design; offering students an opportunity to build on skills already gained at school.

Teaching and learning

Tutorials are held on a regular basis throughout the course. They are a good chance to discuss your progress and to talk about your personal investigation/study or any issues you might have. We operate an open door principle; apart from timetabled sessions you are encouraged to use the studios at any time to continue your studies.

Homework is set on a regular basis and may take the form of a visual sketchbook, written work or a research project. We encourage students to visit art galleries and museums, both local and national, and arrange gallery and museum visits throughout the course. We also frequently run projects and/or workshops with industry, artists/designers and the local community.
