Law Foundation Degree
After studying ‘A’ Levels at ncn, Lee decided to stay at the College to take the Law Foundation Degree.
She has since completed an LLB* Law Degree at Nottingham Trent University (NTU).
“My ‘A’ Level tutor pointed out that completing the Foundation Degree at ncn would see me on to the
second year of the Degree course at NTU. I was eager to study HE locally due to family and sporting
commitments as well as the financial benefits of not living away from home.
“The Foundation Degree covered subjects at an appropriate pace and the lecturers ensured we didn’t lose our way. At college the
availability of your lecturers is slightly more flexible than at university and there tends to be a warmer learning environment.
“My experience at ncn has convinced me that I would like to teach law in post-compulsory
education. Law isn’t dry or boring, for me it has been a colourful subject providing many lively discussions.”
