"Since starting at ncn, I’ve already gained some valuable experience and hope to gain a lot more. I am hoping to become a solicitor in the future and the Foundation Degree in Law has enabled me to find a route into the profession at a pace I can handle, with friendly tutors who challenge me without leaving me demoralised. I particularly enjoyed a visit to court – it gave me an insight as to how a case is handled by professionals.
"I’ve travelled quite far to come onto this course, which must mean there is something good about it! Getting one-on-one help with coursework and exams is not always easy at bigger institutions. Another benefit is getting access to the very expensive Lexis Nexis service and the learning centre has all the books you need to allow you to further enhance your studies with independent learning.
"I am particularly proud of the confidence I have gained. I had never studied Law before and was unsure whether it would be for me. Also it was a bit daunting coming to a new city and meeting new people, but the experience was not nearly as scary as I first thought it would be."
