After studying an HND in Hospitality Management at ncn, in 2001 Giles went on to create Soulshakers, a bar consultancy service based in London with the aim of being involved with all levels of drinks creation, production, promotion and sales.
Hugely successful, Soulshakers now offers a wide range of services from work on cocktail menus and design to recruitment, brand sponsorship, bar design and construction. They are world leaders in brand and cocktail training with over 2,000 bartenders trained each year, and have served cocktails at over 40 festivals including Glastonbury. Soulshakers designed the first true cocktail service on board Virgin Atlantic's upper class suite!
