“I chose to study at ncn because I preferred the idea of a college setting. It was local and the course not only sounded interesting but was cheaper than other institutions and was still a Nottingham Trent University (NTU) qualification.
“I’ve gained a lot of confidence, especially through presentations. At the start I was extremely nervous when presenting, but the support network here helped a lot.
“I had the amazing opportunity to be an Aimhigher Associate; a fantastic NTU scheme in which I mentored five pupils at a local school. This experience really developed my confidence, interpersonal skills, time management and organisational skills; it was a part of my higher education that I will never forget.
“I’ve decided to stay at ncn to take the Business Degree and eventually, if all goes well, I’d love to become a
marketing manager.”
