Theatre Arts (Dance) Foundation Degree
Amy came to Nottingham to study a Theatre Arts (Dance) Foundation Degree in 2007, followed by the BA (Hons) Theatre Arts, and is now teaching dance.
“Moving to Nottingham to study HE was the best decision I ever made. I enjoyed all aspects of the Foundation Degree from the lessons to performances to teaching opportunities in the UK and Germany.
“I did some voluntary work with young people with mental health issues to create a film for which we won a Bridging the Gap in Communities award. The film is now being shown in health centres up and down the country.
“In my final year my friend and I set up a dance company using students from ncn to create a piece for our final project; it became a huge success and is now touring around the UK at small performance events.”
