Clearing is a system that matches students who do not have an offer of a course, with institutions that have vacancies. You will be eligible for clearing if you meet any of the following criteria:
- You are not holding any offers from any institutions
- Your offers were not confirmed when your exam results were published
- You have declined all offers
- You have applied too late for your application to be considered before clearing
Applying to New College Nottingham via clearing
You can apply to New College Nottingham during the clearing process by following a simple procedure:
- Applicants check that vacancies are available on the course
- Applicants phone New College Nottingham regarding the course they are interested in and ask to be considered for that course
- If the College is prepared to make an offer and the candidate is prepared to accept, the candidate then enters the course choice through UCAS Track and this will then be formally accepted by the College.
If you have not already applied through UCAS, or require further advice, please contact the Higher Education Team by emailing he.team@ncn.ac.uk or by calling 0115 910 4584 or 0115 910 4589.
Important things to consider
Be patient and persistent when trying to phone the College. It is a very busy period and we will answer your call as soon as possible.
