Basford Refectory

The Basford Refectory is located next to the learning centre on the ground floor.

The refectory offers:

• hot lunch
• soups
• jacket potatoes
• deli-style hot and cold sandwiches
• deli-style wraps
• homemade cakes
• hot and cold drinks

If you need to get your lunch in a hurry we have a small shop located at the side of the Cafe and a kiosk in the building corridor selling ‘Grab and Go’ items.

Shop

Our Shop offers hot and cold snacks and drinks, stationery, newspapers, and a range of confectionery. There are also confectionery and drink vending machines on the Basford Hall campus.

Kiosk

Located in the Construction workshops area at ncn Basford Hall, our Kiosk sells:

• hot and cold drinks
• bacon and sausage cobs
• baguettes
• sandwiches
• other snacks

Where are we on healthy eating?

The health of our customers is important to us and, therefore, we offer and promote healthy options and diet. We also raise awareness of healthier and sensible eating through our theme days and promotions.

Food miles and carbon footprint

Whenever possible, we contact local producers and suppliers - for our fresh meat, bread, dairy, fruit and vegetables.

Because we truly care about our impact on the environment, we try to reduce our carbon footprint by making less frequent and more efficient deliveries.
