Alishia Palmer
ncn student Alishia Palmer has won a place at the British Colleges Sport (BCS) National Championships 2010 following success at the Regional Swimming Championship held at Nottingham University Sports Swimming Centre in December.
Alishia, 17, who is studying a BTEC National Award in Sport & Exercise Science at ncn Basford Hall, came 1st in both her races - the 100m butterfly and the 100m backstroke.
She will now compete in the finals at Loughborough University 16 -18 April 2010, which will involve more than 2500 students and staff from all over the UK in 15 different sports.
