The dedication and loyalty of the College's longest serving staff were celebrated at the ncn Long Service Awards Ceremony 2010, where over 45* staff gathered with their guests, colleagues and senior managers for a special evening of presentations, student musical performances, and refreshments.

Anne Adams, Chair of Governors and Geoff Hall, Principal, presented awards in three categories (20-24 years' service; 25-29 years' service; and 30 years service) and thanked recipients for their commitment and steadfast support to the College over the vast number of years.

Maureen Walker received a very special award in recognition of a remarkable forty years of devoted service to the College. Maureen has now retired from ncn, but her colleagues have held and continue to hold her in the highest regard; praising her fantastic team leading skills and her ability to combine striving for excellence with a great sense of humour.

Geoff Hall, said: "I'm thrilled that we are able to provide this opportunity to celebrate the loyalty and committed of our staff and to recognise the contribution they have made to College life. The support they have provided to facilitate the learning and development of our student community is both admired and appreciated."
