ncn held its Freshers’ Fair - Carnival of the Strange - at Clarendon campus on 21 September to welcome new students to the College.

This year the fair had an old-world circus theme, complete with coconut shy, ‘test your strength’, pin the tail on the donkey, bouncy castle and a variety of stallholders giving away freebies, information and special offers. The event also raised money for the Pakistan Floods Appeal.

Freshers’ Fair provides the ideal opportunity for students to meet their fellow students and the chance to ask questions and find out information about ncn in a fun and informal environment.

Student Union Liaison Officer, Stuart Stapleton, commented: “It can be a daunting experience starting college so holding the Fair is a great way to welcome students. It’s also an excellent illustration of how College life can be enjoyed outside of the classroom.”
