Hundreds of ncn students opened their ‘A’ Level results at the Trent FM Arena on 19 August.
Among those celebrating their success are Laura Corcoran whose four A* grades in Biology, Maths, Further Maths, and Psychology have secured her place at the University of Cambridge to read Psychology, Sociology and Politics.
Adelani Ayoola who studied Law, Biology and Government & Politics achieved A* and A grades. He now plans to take a gap year before studying Law at university.
Laura Williamson achieved A, A, B in History, English Language and English Literature. “I’m really pleased”, she said. “My results are better than I expected. I’ve had quite a stressful year due to family problems, but my tutors were really supportive and it’s been a good experience studying at ncn”
Liz Leek, Director of Students, said: “We are very proud of our ‘A’ Level students who have worked extremely hard over the past two years, and are also delighted to see a number of them achieving the new A* grade. Most of our students will now progress to degree level study at a range of universities across the UK.”
The overall pass rate for the College this year is 96%.
