Fine Artist, Angela Ho, is showcasing her thought provoking ‘Animal Kingdom’ collection at ncn's Lace Market Gallery from 6 to 29 September. Her portrayal of animals mirrors the bizarre fantasy of surrealism with subconscious subjects and collective experience.
The public can watch Angela creating the larger than life installation with just a pencil on the Gallery walls and can speak to her about her artwork between 11am and 3pm on 19 August, 25 August and 2 September.
Angela comments: “I like the challenge of creating odd scenarios by consciously selecting subject matter with cultural and ethical connotations. This also challenges my audience not necessarily with their own oddity but with the introduction of their soothing ethical familiarity into the unsettling circumstances.”
The exhibition is free to view at the ncn Lace Market Gallery, 25 Stoney Street, Monday to Friday from 6 to 29 September between 9am and 4.30pm.
