Public Services staff and students presented a cheque for more than £1400 to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance on Monday 28 June, which they raised by taking part in a 17 mile sponsored walk around East Leake.
The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance is a dedicated medical air service charity. The group of 21 students and three staff completed the walk, which incorporates some of the East Leake Challenge route, as part of the BTEC National Certificate and BTEC First Diploma in Public Services courses.
ncn Public Services Lecturer, Chris Sweetman said: “The students worked hard to raise as much money as possible for this vital emergency service, which is relevant to the course they are studying and relies on fundraising and donations.”
