Danny Clarke, BTEC National Diploma Acting student, is appearing on cinema screens around the world in the new Russell Crowe blockbuster, Robin Hood.

A student at ncn Clarendon, Danny spent 15 days filming in the south of England for his role as a feral child who escapes from Nottingham and lives in Sherwood Forest.

Danny said: “Being a part of Robin Hood was an amazing experience which has made me want to work in television and film even more. I even got to meet the big stars of the film; Cate Blanchett, who plays Maid Marian, was really sweet and Russell Crowe invited me to a barbecue which was a bit bizarre but fantastic.”

“My tutors were really supportive, allowing me to have time off for filming. I was able to use acting techniques that I’ve learnt on my course but I also gained more experience that will help me now I’m back at college.” he added.
