International students created colourful stands to present their cultures and traditions to fellow learners, at the College’s annual International Day on Wednesday 5 May.
After officially opening the event, The Lord Mayor of Nottingham, Councillor Jeannie Packer, tasted different national dishes and learnt about their home countries.
The Lord Mayor said: “The City of Nottingham seeks to promote and celebrate diversity, as does New College Nottingham. Events of this nature enable us all to share in and learn more about each other’s cultures.”
ncn International Day is organised by the ncn Students’ Union and International team to promote diversity and inclusion among the student population.
