ncn’s Volunteering team has successfully achieved Reach, the national quality practice framework for Youth Action agencies, in recognition of its high standard youth-led volunteering.
In partnership with Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham Trent Students Union, and v; the youth volunteering charity, ncn runs three volunteering programmes: Initi8, The Volshop, and vtalent. The projects give students the opportunity to make a difference by helping others, whilst gaining new skills, meeting new people, and building their CV.
ncn Volunteering Coordinator, Carleen Bentley, comments: “To be awarded by Reach is excellent recognition of the volunteering work we do at ncn.”
