Young hairdressers and beauty therapists at ncn celebrated with friends and family at a special Junior Academy graduation ceremony held at ncn Clarendon on 7th February.
The 14 -16 year olds were part of an eleven week programme which gives young people the opportunity to try out potential career paths in the beauty industry through learning basic skills and techniques.
ncn Head of School for Beauty and Floristry, Jennifer Needham, commented: “The graduates’ work was outstanding. Attending the academy helps the students to make an informed choice on the career path they wish to follow.”
At the graduation students demonstrated the skills they had learnt during the course with model makeovers. Industry sponsors at the event included hair and beauty wholesale supplier ‘Ellisons’.
