A sense of occasion at Graduation 2009.
Over 170 ncn university level students gathered together to celebrate their academic success and receive their qualifications at the ninth annual Higher Education (HE) Graduation Ceremony on Sunday 15 November at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham.
Friends, family and supporters joined special guests (including the Lord Mayor of Nottingham, the Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council and the Dean of the School of Education at Nottingham Trent University) to congratulate the graduates.
Nick Whitehouse, ncn Dean of HE and International said: “The graduation ceremony was a truly rewarding experience for the students, guests and lecturing staff. We were extremely proud to recognise and reward their considerable hard work and achievement over the years.”
Music from ncn students past and present entertained the guests during the ceremony.
Since the 1980s more than 10,000 students have studied HE courses at ncn and its constituent colleges, bringing opportunities to individuals and social and economic benefits to the City of Nottingham.
