The first School of Performing Arts & Music Awards was held on 1st July at ncn Clarendon. Aimed at celebrating the achievements of all students in the school, the inaugural awards evening included performances from Music and Dance students.

Over 150 awards were presented to students across Dance, Acting and Production, Music and Music Technology, including special awards for outstanding commitment, dedication and achievement.

Bryan Ahad received the ‘Jerome Eugene Bergan Award for Outstanding Achievement in Performing Arts’ in recognition of hard work and determination throughout his Level 3 National Diploma in Dance. This special award was instigated in memory of Jerome Bergan, a former ncn Performing Arts student, and was presented by his mother Mrs Bergan.

Bryan was also commended for inspiring other students, leading an advice session for those on introductory Dance courses and teaching the ‘Clarendon Street Dance’ group which meets every week at ncn Clarendon.
