Nicola Jenner in action
Nicola Jenner, 17, currently studying Sport & Exercise Science, has been selected for the Great Britain Colleges hockey team after being nominated by ncn for a series of trials.
Nicola, who has played hockey since the age of nine, was chosen for the final 21-woman squad out of more than 60 young hopefuls. She now aims to impress the GB coaches to earn a place in the 16-woman squad tour of New Zealand later this year.
Having already achieved the title of Nottingham’s ‘Junior Sports Leader of the Year’, Ashfield’s ‘Junior Leader of the Year’ and receiving the gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, Nicola hopes to progress to study a sports degree at Loughborough University.
