ncn held a series of events to promote adult learning across Nottingham between 11th and 15th May as part of Adult Learners’ Week.

The ncn Roadshow toured Nottingham providing people with the opportunity to get involved in fun learning activities as well as to find out more about the wide range of courses, facilities and services that the College has to offer.

A special interactive event was held in Market Square on Wednesday 13th May. Activities included salsa dancing, hair and beauty demonstrations, IT skills on the ncn Learning Bus, henna art, and a variety of prize giveaways.

Adult Learners’ Week is a national festival of learning with hundreds of organisations providing opportunities for new and existing learners across the UK and overseas. The UK has been celebrating Adult Learners’ Week for 18 years with a range of activities targeted at encouraging adults to engage in the learning experience.
