ncn Construction students received six out of eight accolades in the 2009 East Midlands regional Building Services Engineering Training (BEST) Awards in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
Initiated by the Heating & Ventilating Contractors’ Association (HVCA) and BEST, the awards aim to pay tribute to the experience and talent shown by young engineers, and the support shown by their employers, families and training providers.
These students received the following awards:
- Roseanne Baker, ‘Junior Apprentice of the Year’
- Luke Judge, ‘Senior Apprentice of the Year - Silver’
- Oliver Heath, ‘Senior Apprentice of the Year - Gold’
- Chris McLean, ‘Building Services Engineering Technician of the Year - Silver’
- James Doolin, ‘Building Services Engineering Technician of the Year - Gold’
- David Guy, ‘Incorporated Engineer of the Year - Gold’
Family and employers will join the winners at a special presentation ceremony held at Risley Hall Hotel in Derbyshire on 14th October.
