A group of 15 Latvian students have visited ncn to complete a 2 year ncn accredited business diploma qualification that they have been studying as part of a unique partnership agreement with the Private School of The Humanities in Riga, Latvia.
The students completed their final module during their one week visit, and were presented with their qualification at a special awards ceremony held on 3rd July at ncn City Campus.
The award is quality assured and moderated by ncn staff and delivered to the students in Latvia in English by the staff at their school. The ncn programme offers Latvian students the opportunity to travel to the UK, meet other students and teachers and experience College life at ncn first hand.
Nick Whitehouse, ncn Dean of HE and International, commented: “We were delighted to welcome our Latvian friends to the College for a second year. This partnership complements the students’ own secondary school qualifications and adds an English element to their studies, which will help with their progression to University, either at home or abroad, as well as enhancing their career prospects.“
