Carla Stemate,
ncn SU President, and David
Walker, NTSU President, sign the agreement
The relationship between the Students’ Unions (SU) at New College Nottingham (ncn) and Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has grown stronger through the updating and extension of a ground-breaking Reciprocal Agreement between the two organisations.
Both SU Presidents - Carla Stemate from ncn and David Walker from NTU - formally signed the agreement on Friday 11 December, cementing the relationship between the two institutions for a further three years.
The agreement allows all ncn Higher Education students to access the wealth of opportunities available at NTU’s Students’ Union; giving them the chance to join the university’s clubs, societies and sports teams, attend events and activities, and gain access to a wide range of welfare advice and support.
The updated contract will allow the respective Unions to review and revise the conditions on a regular basis, ensuring that the terms are constantly evolving and relevant for the modern student body. It also includes clauses that will promote inclusion.
