The School of Construction has won two national awards for plastering achievement throughout England, Scotland and Wales, from The Worshipful Company of Plaisterers.
The Plaisterers’ Training Awards 2009 recognise and celebrate the highest standards of achievement in training and education within the UK plastering industry.
The College has been awarded the John G Robinson Trophy for the best overall performing college from the regions as well as the Midlands Regional Certificate for overall achievement for 2009.
ncn Plastering Lecturer, Kevin O’Keefe, comments: “This is a wonderful achievement for the School of Construction. We are all thrilled to be recognised for our expertise and competence in plastering training.”
The Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Ian Luder presented the trophies along with a cheque for £1,500 at the special Awards Luncheon held at Plaisterers’ Hall, in the city of London on 29 October.
The event was also attended by Sheriff of the city of London, Peter Cook.
