Liz cooks up a storm in
the ncn demo kitchen
Celebrity Masterchef winner and former Atomic Kitten, Liz McClarnon, created a selection of tasty pork dishes at the ncn Demonstration Theatre on 4th February as part of the ‘Love Pork Properly’ UK tour.
Members of the public and ncn catering students watched Liz and the Love Pork team showcase their culinary skills.
Student Chef and mum of three Emma Hartwright, 27, explained “The demonstration was really interesting and I got some great tips. I had recently stopped using pork as I felt it was quite dry, but Liz showed me how juicy and full of flavour it can be.
“I will be using the recipes at home and am now really looking forward to learning more about pork on my course.”
The audience tasted dishes such as healthy pork tenderloin with chilli and lime and delicious slow cooked pork belly with apple and Chinese spices. They also received a luxury goody bag to take home.
