VQ Day – HE Shows

Fashion degree students presented a stunning array of designs on the catwalk on 24th June at ncn Clarendon Community Theatre as part of National VQ Day, which aims to raise the profile of Vocational Qualifications and celebrate vocational achievement, including the many paths to success taken by learners of all ages.

Shows featured collections from Foundation Degree (FdA) Fashion and FdA Fashion Interpretation and Practice students, each conveying individual styling, cut and design. The wide range of collections included: ‘The Harajuku Girls’ inspired by Tokyo’s youth fashion, and ‘Sugar and Spice’ which reflects the smart, fashion-conscious style of the TV series ‘Sex in the City’.
