International student awardees with Nick Whitehouse

The College rewarded sixteen of its international students at a special awards ceremony on 2nd June. The awards, which recognise the outstanding individual achievements of the students, were held at ncn Adams Restaurant & Brasserie, and sponsored by Paragon Law.
ncn Dean of HE/International, Nick Whitehouse, commented: “Our International students come to study with us from all over the world and add a tremendous richness and variety to student life at ncn. I warmly congratulate all award winners and thank them for giving so much to our community of learners.”
During the evening A’ level Music student and award winner, Wan Pin Chu, played a short piece of music on the erhu (Chinese violin). Wan is currently studying five A’ levels at ncn and hopes to progress to study music at university.
ncn currently has over 300 International students from a diverse range of countries including: Myanmar, Canada, China, Bahrain, Chile, India, Jamaica, Libya, Austria, Vietnam, South Korea and Taiwan.
