The achievements of Hair, Beauty and Floristry students were celebrated at a special awards evening at ncn Clarendon Community Theatre on 29th June. The show was one of a selection of celebratory shows this year to mark ncn’s 10th Anniversary.
Students showcased their skills in floristry, hair, make-up and nails on the catwalk to an audience of friends, family, tutors and industry sponsors. A range of colourful themes were presented on the night including carnival, bridal, denim, sophisticated silver, and fabulous fantasy.
The awardees, each nominated by their tutors, received prizes donated by industry associates and sponsors, including Dermalogica, L’Oreal, La Beeby, Ellison, and The Guild of Professional Therapists.
Julie Abu-Aita, Head of School for Hair, Beauty & Floristry, commented: “The awards evening was a wonderful opportunity for learners to show off their creativity and talent. We are extremely proud of what they have achieved and this was a perfect way to celebrate their success.”
