BugArts and LIFE group at the grand unveiling

Suzie Wright and Billie Ireland in front of the sign
A group of Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (LLDD) at ncn were commissioned to design and paint a new sign for ‘LIFE’, an organisation which provides activities and education to LLDD clients throughout Nottinghamshire.
The grand unveiling of the sign took place on 24th March at the LIFE centre at Aspley Methodist Church. The students are all members of ‘BugArts’ – ncn’s Art LLDD Enterprise programme, which manufactures and sells original craft goods with the aim to support and encourage LLDD learners into employment.
Director of LIFE, Suzie Wright, commented: “This has been a great project, which enabled the BugArt group and learners at LIFE to work together. They have created a stunning colourful design which incorporates our logo - the finished product is fantastic and looks really eye catching.”
