Freshers Fair at Clarendon

ncn held its Freshers Fair at Clarendon Campus on 17th and 18th September to welcome new students to the College.

The two-day event included live music, free food, goody bags and lots of fun activities for everyone to enjoy. There were inflatable sumo wrestler suits, football penalty shootouts, gladiator duals, and a giant 20ft inflatable gorilla. To complete the festival atmosphere a music tent provided live entertainment featuring some of the best live acts from Nottingham’s thriving music scene.

Freshers Fair provides the ideal opportunity for students to meet their fellow students and the chance to ask questions and find out information about ncn in a fun and informal environment.

Student Union Liaison Officer, Stuart Stapleton, comments: “Freshers Fair was a huge success. We had a brilliant turnout and a really good atmosphere. It can be a daunting experience starting college for the first time so this is a good way to welcome students. It’s also an excellent illustration of how College life can be enjoyed outside of the classroom.”
