Level 3 Hair and Specialist make-up students at ncn took part in a ‘Narnia’ inspired fashion show on 26th November as part of the Sneinton Festival Youth Project, Winter Wonderland. The show helped to raise money for the Women’s Refuge Centre.
Winter Wonderland is a pilot festival taking place in the Sneinton area from 12th November to 13th December. The project has been organised by young volunteers aged 16 to 25 and includes a variety of events ranging from ‘A feel good pamper evening’ to a carnival parade with live music and stilt walkers. All events are free entry.

ncn Beauty Lecturer, April Green, commented: “The students did a fantastic job. They all worked extremely well together and represented ncn in a very professional manner. It’s good experience for our students to get involved in events outside the College and this was especially rewarding because it helped to raise money for a good cause.”
