‘A’ Levels
‘A’ Levels are normally taken after GCSEs if you are planning to go on to university or haven’t settled on a definite career path. Vocational Studies
These are practical courses that are available in a wide range of work-related subject areas. You will develop skills and experience around a
specific career path and our close links with employers will ensure that
those skills reflect current and future workplace needs. Courses are
designed with employability in mind and you can work towards
qualifications that lead directly into employment or enable you to progress
to university-level study.

Apprenticeships
These qualifications are designed for those wanting to work in a specific job and will be assessed in a work environment. They are the qualifications that you will study if you do an Apprenticeship.
Foundation Learning
Foundation Learning qualifications are for learners who find it more difficult or need more time than others to reach a Level 2 qualification. Learners follow a more personalised learning programme and gain credit-based qualifications. Entry Level courses can give you a step up whatever your starting point or previous level of education.
