You could study at ncn as part of your Year 10 and 11 GCSEs - learning a career as well as continuing your academic studies.
You'll gain an extra qualification by the time you leave school, working towards your chosen career, while meeting new people.
There are four options available to you:
-
In the Schools Outsourced Provision, you'll study a vocational course at ncn while continuing your studies at your regular school. At the end, you could have a vocational qualification as well as your GCSEs!
-
The Foundation Learning Tier is for students who find it more difficult or need more time than others to reach a Level 2 qualification (GCSE A* - C equivalent). You'll be able to follow a more personalised learning programme and gain credit-based qualifications.
-
These qualifications will combine class work with real hands-on work experience, giving you the skills, knowledge and opportunities to progress onto Further Education, Higher Education, or your working life.
-
Junior Academies run on Saturdays and during the summer, giving you the opportunity to try out a wide range of career paths!
For more information, read the Students' Information Pack, which students receive on their first day.
If you have any questions, or want to discuss in further detail what ncn could do for you please contact the 14-19 Team or see us at one of our Open Days!
