The course takes place at the ncn Lace Market School of Art, Design, Fashion and Media.

Course Description
A practical course, giving learners an opportunity to create programmes for broadcast radio. Learners will study radio news and journalism, and learn about scheduling radio music play lists.
There will be practical lessons on how to be a radio presenter, writing radio scripts, and what a career in radio is like. Students will also take workshops on voice coaching, researching, and designing radio shows for young people.
Prior Learning Requirement
Students will need to have an interest and enthusiasm for the subject area.
Progression
BTEC First Diploma or National Diploma in Media Production, foundation degree or bachelors' degree in media or multimedia.
